Bulgaria And Sweden Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

A round table on “The opportunities for expansion of the cooperation between Bulgaria and Sweden” will be held today at the Ministry of economy and energy.

Among the topics to be discussed are the possibilities for cooperation in the field of infrastructure (incl. energy), energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, environment protection.

The participants are expected to discuss also issues of the global trade policy, the reforms of the EU internal market etc.

Participants in the round table from the Bulgarian side include Peter Dimitrov-minister of economy and energy, Yavor Kjumdjiev – vice-minister of economy and energy, Iskar Mihailova – vice-minister of regional development and public works, Simeon Nikolov – vice-minister of defence, experts from ministry of finance, ministry of environment, representatives from the National Association of municipalities in Bulgaria, Bulgarian chamber of commerce and industry and Bulgarian industrial association.

The Swedish side will be represented by Gunar Wislander -state secretary on trade at the ministry of foreign affairs, Anders Anlid – general director “Trade” at the same ministry, Bertil Rot – ambassador of Sweden in Bulgaria, Bo Norlin – vice-president of SAAB Industrial Cooperation and others.
