Developments Worth 2b Leva To Be Presented At Balpex
Real estate developments worth a combined two billion leva will be presented at this year's spring edition of Balkan Property Exhibition (BalPEx), which will be held on April 18-20 at Inter Expo Centre in Sofia, event organisers said on April 14 2008.
The projects on show include malls, vacation villages, office buildings, warehouses, residential buildings and hotels, according to Veneta Krusteva, managing partner in the Stroitelstvo Gradut publishing group, which is organising the event, as quoted by Dnevnik daily.
BalPEx will follow Balkan Real Estate Conference (BalREc), which will be held in Sofia's Hotel Kempinski Zografski on April 15-16.
"The conference will launch the professional debate, while during the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to see all the projects discussed," Krusteva said.
BalREc's focus will be on on business opportunities in the property markets of Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia, as well as the effect that the global credit crunch has had on those markets. The event will be structured around panel discussions with invited speakers from major real estate companies.
BalPEx will feature 150 companies with a combined portfolio of more than five billion euro throughout the region, organisers said. The fair will be open from 10 am to 6 pm, entrance fee is three leva.
